G.A. RITTENHOUSE
The plant decommissioning and asset recovery division of G.A. Rittenhouse’s furnace operations. Equipment we recover that cannot be re-sold is melted into new metal — which is why we can price work other contractors walk away from.
Recoverable is our own platform. We built it because the tools in this industry are auction catalogues and spreadsheets, and neither of those can tell a client what happened to a specific machine six months later.
Everything we take is given its own record and tag — manufacturer, model, serial, part number, specification, weight and footprint. Not a line on a spreadsheet that gets re-sorted.
Recorded per asset, so what you are told about a machine is what the system says, and it does not drift between the site visit and the offer.
Two distinct fields on every record. That gap is the whole argument of this business, and keeping the numbers apart is what makes it visible rather than assumed. Why the difference matters.
Images live on the asset record, not in an email thread.
Warehouse and bin, or the scrap lot it went into. You can answer ‘where is it now’ without ringing anybody.
Whether an asset is ours outright, consigned, or held on your behalf is a field, not a memory.
Every liquidator will send you a final report. The question is what you can see while the work is still running.
A live list of what we hold for you, with status and disposition. Visibility is set per asset, so you see yours and nobody else’s.
Issued documents, in one place, at any point in the project.
What sold, what it made, and what is owed — rather than a reconciliation that arrives when the job closes.
The national firms publish auction catalogues so buyers can bid. That is a shop window, and a good one. It is not the same as giving the party whose plant is being cleared a login to their own assets, their own invoices and their own settlements.
Recoverable is our software. When the process needs to change, we change it — we are not waiting on a vendor roadmap or bending the job to fit a package.
The same system handles intake, valuation, offers, contracts, warehousing, scrap lots, invoicing and settlement. It is not a reporting layer bolted onto a spreadsheet after the fact.
Chain of custody per asset matters most on controlled material, where showing what happened to an item is the deliverable. How that works on demil projects.
We will walk you through the platform on a live project. Ask when you request a valuation.
