Utility work is where the recovery argument is strongest, because so much of what comes out is copper and it goes straight to our own furnaces. A substation clear-out is not a demolition job with a scrap credit bolted on — the metal is most of the value, and we price it as the buyer rather than passing it to one.

Windings, bus bar and cable are our highest-volume non-ferrous stream. Melted in-house, so there is a floor under the number.
